Product Description
The bottom has two ventilation holes under the mesh, with the option to install a flag to divide the families. There is a groove at the bottom of 22 mm for a standard PPS sheet to close the bees in cold weather (if needed). There are recesses for handles. A groove is provided to divide the hive in half, with each half having a separate entrance.
The hive roof is 72 mm thick at the thickest point and 52 mm at the thinnest point. It has a slight slope on the sides to drain water. The roof is heavy and does not require additional wind load.
The body for 145 mm frames is one-piece molded. Two bodies allow for the installation of a 300 mm frame.
The body has a thickness of 40 mm at the thinnest point. Internal dimensions are 450*385 mm.
The body is very strong, allowing work with a chisel around the entire perimeter (a 1 mm groove is made), and thanks to the high density of the material, the bees do not gnaw the hive.
The surface of the product is smooth, requiring no pre-treatment before painting. It can be painted with any facade paint.
All bodies have grooves to divide them in half (into two compartments of 5 frames each)
