Product Description

The bottom has two ventilation holes for the grid, with the option to install a flag for dividing families. A groove is made at the bottom, 22 mm deep, for a standard EPS sheet to close the bees in cold weather (if necessary). There are indentations for handles. A groove for splitting the hive in half, each half having a separate flight hole.

The hive roof is 72 mm thick at the thickest point, tapering to 52 mm at the narrowest. It has a slight slope on the sides for water drainage. The roof is heavy, so no additional load is needed to withstand wind.

The body for the 145 mm frame is cast in one piece. Two bodies allow you to place a 300 mm frame.
The body is 40 mm thick at the narrowest point. Internal dimensions are 450*385 mm.

The body is very strong, allowing work with a chisel around the entire perimeter (a 1 mm groove is made), and thanks to the high density of the material, the bees do not gnaw the hive.

The surface of the product is smooth and does not require prior preparation before painting. It can be painted with any facade paint.

 All bodies have grooves for splitting into halves (two compartments for 5 frames each).
