The APIX hive for 10 frames is made of food-grade polystyrene foam (PPS, foam) with a density of 100 kg per cubic meter.

Product Description
The bottom has two ventilation holes under the mesh and the option to install a flag to separate the bee colonies. There is a groove at the bottom of 22 mm for a standard PPS sheet to close off the bees in cold weather (if needed). There are recesses for handles. There is a groove for splitting the hive in half, with each half having its own entrance.
The hive roof has a thickness ranging from 72 mm to 52 mm at the narrowest point. It has a slight slope on the sides for water drainage. The roof is heavy and does not require additional weight to withstand wind.
The body for a 230 mm frame is molded in one piece and has handles for easy carrying.
The body is very strong, allowing for work with a chisel around the entire perimeter (a 1 mm groove is made), and thanks to the high density of the material, the bees do not gnaw on the hive.
The surface of the product is smooth and does not require pre-treatment before painting. It can be painted with any facade paint.
All bodies have grooves for dividing them in half (into two compartments for 5 frames each).
