Product Description
The bottom has two ventilation holes under the mesh, with the option to install a flag to separate families. There is a groove at the bottom, 22 mm deep, for a standard PPS sheet to close the bees in cold weather (if needed). There are handle recesses. The groove is for dividing the beehive in half, with each half having its own entrance.
The roof of the beehive is 72 mm to 52 mm thick at the narrowest point. It has a slight slope on the sides for water drainage. The roof is heavy and does not require additional wind load.
The body for 145 mm frames is one-piece. Two bodies allow for the placement of 300 mm frames.
