Product Description

The bottom has two ventilation holes under the mesh, with the option to install a divider for separating families. It has a groove at the bottom of 22 mm for a standard PPS sheet to cover the bees in cold weather (if necessary). There are indentations for handles. A groove for dividing the hive in half, each half has a separate entrance. 

The hive roof is 72 mm thick, tapering to 52 mm at the narrowest point. It has a slight slope on the sides for water drainage. The roof is heavy, eliminating the need for additional wind load.

The body for a 145 mm frame is one-piece, with handles for easy carrying.

The body is very durable, allowing work with a chisel along the entire perimeter (a 1 mm groove is provided). Due to the high material density, bees do not chew on the hive.

The surface of the product is smooth and does not require pre-treatment before painting. It can be painted with any facade paint.

All bodies have grooves for dividing in half (into two sections of 5 frames each).
