Product Description

The bottom has two ventilation holes under the mesh, with the option to install a flag for separating families. There is a 22 mm groove underneath for a standard EPS sheet to close the bees in cold weather (if needed). There are recesses for handles. A groove is provided for splitting the hive in half, with each half having a separate entrance.

The hive roof has a thickness ranging from 72 mm to 52 mm at its narrowest point. It has a slight slope on the sides for water drainage. The roof is heavy and does not require additional weight against wind.

The body for 145 mm frames is solid cast. Two bodies allow for the installation of 300 mm frames.
The body has a thickness of 40 mm at its narrowest point. Internal size is 450*385 mm.

The body is very strong, allowing work with a chisel around the entire perimeter (a 1 mm groove is made), and due to the high density of the material, the bees do not gnaw the hive.

The surface of the product is smooth and does not require pre-treatment before painting. It can be painted with any facade paint.

All bodies have grooves for splitting in half (into two compartments of 5 frames each).
